TESTIMONIALS
Local Care: “We have been utilizing the services of BCDCC for 4 years to provide care for our clients in Wingecarribee and Wollondilly, they have been able to provide many services at short notice.
During this time we have found their service to be of excellent standard, we receive information over the phone from carers and we really need to depend on our providers to be mindful of any OH&S issues and contact us with appropriate feedback if necessary. BCDCC Manager Bronwyn Hindson always attends the local HACC Forum which provides us all with updates of current needs analysis of the area, and ital information exchange.”

The manager of BCDCC and her team have significant knowledge
of our clients needs and exercise the most appropriate care when providing service.

Respite Care: “I remember a few years ago when ACAT visited and told me that a lady named Bronwyn will vivit shortly to arrange for services for us, well Bronwyn from the day you visited I have been overwhelmed by your empathy, kindness and understanding.
The wonderful ladies you have sent to care for my wife’s personal needs and clean the house for us have been something that I have appreciated so much, the fact that you also arranged for a workman to assist with my lawn mowing and other outdoor needs was indeed helpful to me due to the deterioration of my sight. It has made my role as my wife’s carer much more bearable, in particular the times you have arranged for respite when I had to go to Sydney for eye treatment.
The times I have been in the office when my wife was attending Dementia Day Care has been a comfort to me as you both made me feel welcome when I needed to talk.
Being a full time carer for my wife has been difficult, particularly some of the behaviour which my wife displays, however you lovely ladies your team of workers have made it achievable for me to continue.”

Gratitude for Independence: “Dear Bronwyn:
We wanted to write and express our thanks for the love, car eand concern you have shown to both our parents with their recent illness.
The level of skill and professionalism in providing the necessary care for my parents has been outstanding.
All carers who have looked after my parents have been excellent, not only in their skill but in their personal attitude and caring natures.
I know that it has provided significant comfort to my father during this difficult time, beforehis death. My mother continues to rely upon this assistance to enable her to maintain a level of independence whilst she is coping with her disease.
Having your staff in our home has been a pleasure and given us great support. We look forward to the continued relationship as my mother continues to fight her illness.
Positive Difference: “Dear Bronwyn:
Over the last twelve months, it has become apparent just how valuable the care you and your staff have provided for mum really is. Looking back, the benefits have been positive indeed.
Previous to this care mum’s quality of life had deteriorated with simple day to day activities becoming increasingly difficult and stressful. We were constantly worried about mum’s situation nd her ability to manage given her medical history and single status. Although not that far away, day to day care for mum was simply not a possibility for us to realistically provide.
Mum has tried to remain as independent as possible but quite frankly was not managing. The cheerful. Thoughtful and practical assistance provided by your carers as really made a significant and positive difference. It is obvious that mum values the contact she has with your staff and they have become almost like an extended part of the family.
Mum is a much happier person and is grateful for the opportunity to live in her own home. The assistance provided with shopping, cleaning, lawn maintenance, medical appointments and supervision of medication has not only improved mum’s quality of life but has given my family a peace of mind that is invaluable.
Your willingness to remain in contact, keeping us informed, trying to anticipate and avoid problems in what could become a difficult situation is simply wonderful.
On behalf of mum and our family I wish to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the way in which you continue to provide reliable, sensitive practical care and emotional support.

Dignity: “To whom it may concern:
During the past six weeks we have been receiving the services of BCD Community Care Services. We would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful care and attention we have received from competent, caring , friendly, dependable and kind nurses.
It is a great shock to one day find yourself unable to move without help, unable to shower or toilet oneself, to have to be transported like a baby from chair to chair. This has been achieved in the most caring and gentle way without loss of dignity and for this we are extremely grateful.
This service is to be highly commended for its professionalism and for its humanity; it is a pleasure to express our thanks.
